The undergraduate certificate program in Child Advocacy helps to prepare students to work with children in a myriad of settings such as the Division of Youth and Family Services (DYFS), the Juvenile Justice System, and as Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) among others.

The Certificate in Makeup Artistry is an eighteen semester hour program designed for students interested in careers in the cosmetic industry, media, performance, and fashion. Coursework will develop understanding of aesthetic principles, observational abilities and practical skills. Objectives of the Certificate in Makeup Artistry are to: 1) develop knowledge, understanding and practical skills needed for the creation and application of professional makeup for fashion and beauty, professional theatre, film and television; 2) understand the importance of general health and hygiene in regard to skin care and diet; 3) develop ability to communicate effectively, work as a team and demonstrate knowledge of the business of the makeup industry.
