Dr. Cioe-Pena Awarded 2019 Outstanding Dissertation Award by the National Association for Bilingual Education

Dr. Maria Cioe-Pena, Assistant Professor in the Early Childhood, Elementary, and Literacy Education Department, was recently awarded first place in the 2019 Outstanding Dissertation Award competition by the National Association for Bilingual Education (NABE).

As the first place winner, Dr. Cioe-Pena will be recognized formally during the NABE Awards Luncheon at the NABE Conference in Orlando. Additionally, NABE will pay for the conference registration and luncheon ticket and travel expenses, including airfare and lodging.
