Thirty-four students participated in MSU Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development’s (ASCD) first professional development event, Acing your Interview: How to Plan and Execute a Demo Lesson on March 23, 2013.

Kaitlin Mulcahy, Associate Director of the Center, was elected to Vice President of the New Jersey Association for Infant Mental Health.

Eden Kyse is now serving as Interim Director of the Center for Research and Evaluation on Education and Human Services (CREEHS). Dr. Kyse has been with the Center, as a Senior Research Associate, since July 2011.

In response to Hurricane Sandy, The Center for Autism and Early Childhood Mental Health (CAECMH) offered a workshop entitled “Helping Infants and Children Affected by Hurricane Sandy”. Topics discussed at the training workshop focused on the consequences of the disaster, strategies for consultation and support for infants, children, families, providers, and ways to "help the helper".

The New Jersey Governor’s Council for Medical Research and Treatment of Autism has awarded Montclair State University’s Center for Autism and Early Childhood Mental Health a $1.5 million, five- year grant to serve as the State’s Coordinating Center.
