This conference is open to anyone interested in technology and education, regardless of age and educational contexts. Preservice teachers and M.A.T. students will learn important strategies and ideas for using new technologies in their teaching; cooperating teachers. administrators, professors and more can add to their repertoires. Presentations will cover technologies including: Blogs, wikis, Second Life, social networking sites like MySpace or Facebook, video games for learning, "Digital Backpacks," Jing, Scratch, children's engineering, youth media production in several contexts, digital storytelling, hybrid courses and much, much more. |

Cooperating teachers will receive 6.5 hours of professional development for attending the entire conference, as MSU is a registered provider of professional development to fit the New Jersey 100 hour requirement. Learning 2.0 will be located in the University Hall Conference Center on the 7th floor for keynote presentations in the morning and to end the day. Between keynotes, speakers will be presenting in breakout rooms. See conference program when it becomes available. And, last but not least, lunch will be provided!
