COUN 589: Student Services in Higher Education
This course is a study of the student personnel functions in two-year and four-year colleges. The areas to be included are: admissions and enrollment management; financial aid; residence halls and student conduct; orientation and academic advising; student activities; career services; and counseling and student health. Course topics include aspects of multicultural, legal, and ethical issues. 3 hours lecture.
Prerequisites: Matriculation in CNSA concentration in counseling program or department approval.
