EDFD 742: Hermeneutics of Childhood
This course focuses on the role of dialogue, interpretation, and judgment in the study of childhood. Childhood is considered from the standpoints of history, philosophy, law, mythology, psychoanalysis, ethnography, cognitive science, art, literature and film. Special attention is given to the indigenous development of childhood philosophies. 3 hours lecture.
Prerequisites: Matriculation in Ed.D.in Pedagogy.
