ELAD 560: Leadership and Supervision in Student Affairs
This course provides knowledge and for those seeking leadership and supervisory roles in higher education/student affairs. Topics will include professional standards; ethical and legal issues in supervision; governance and accountability; organizational culture, conflict and politics; crisis management; partnerships and collaboration; and current issues in student affairs leadership. Students will participate in research projects with senior student affairs leaders in this experiential course. 3 hours workshop seminar.
Prerequisites: Graduate students in Counseling with concentration in Student Affairs in Higher Education (CNSA) or departmental approval.
