ELAD 680: Leading Curriculum Change for Student Achievement
This course engages students in the work of defining what it means to lead change in structures and curricular practices within school systems to support teacher collaboration and student academic achievement. Students explore the role of accountability measures and data in shaping and assessing change, and new designs for professional development and school culture that support critical inquiry. Students gain a deeper understanding of the challenges in leading learning organizations to effectively reshape instructional approaches to curriculum frameworks, and create professional learning opportunities in response to staff and student emerging needs.
Prerequisites: ELAD635 Graduate Students in ELAD, PRIN, SUPR or department approval.
