PEMJ 540: Applied Sport Physiology

Students learn and apply knowledge and skills necessary to design a comprehensive training program for athletes and active individuals, while taking into account variations in environment and dietary intake.  Additionally, students study the physiological aspects of fatigue, practice techniques for assessment of human performance and body composition, and analyze the effects of ergogenic aids on athletic performance and health.

Prerequisites: PEMJ 320 or permission of the instructor.
