PEMJ 546: Principles of Sports Conditioning

Students examine scientific principles related to sports conditioning and apply training principles in the development of programs to enhance strength, speed, power, agility, endurance and flexibility.  Additionally students learn how to conduct fitness testing, implement plyometric training, and apply appropriate practices for athletes undergoing rehabilitation of sports injuries. Students should be prepared to be physically active during specified class meetings.
