The Teacher of Students with Disabilities is a 24 credit program designed to provide graduate students with certification to teach students with disabilities (TSD) in elementary settings. Students who apply to this program must have a bachelor's degree and teacher certification at the elementary level.
Students wishing to matriculate in this program must have a bachelor's degree and possess a standard New Jersey Elementary instructional certificate. *Note: Admissions and certification requirements are subject to change. Consult with your department advisor.
Credentials are processed as soon as they are received. This program does not have a specific deadline; however, the Office of Graduate Admissions & Support Services recommends that students submit their credentials as far in advance as possible for the semester they plan to begin their studies to ensure a timely review of their application.
