Specialization
Meeting the needs of diverse learners especially those with unique learning styles and or identified disabilities is one of my main interests. This is based on over twenty years experience as a special educator and learning consultant as well as research on attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. To meet the needs of all learners an emphasis on differentiated instruction, lesson planning with all students in mind and pedagogical techniques including cooperative learning are evident in my teaching. Additional research interests include professional development schools (PDS), mentoring, and support for novice educators
