The Graduate Certificate in Program Evaluation prepares individuals to meet the growing demand for professionals with evaluation and applied research skills.

Students learn both theory and applied methods for conducting evaluations of programs in areas including education, public health, social services, community development, environmental management, and human resources.

The program is offered in a hybrid format, allowing students to take classes on one Saturday per month and completed additional work online. The entire certificate can be completed in 10 short months.

Housed within Montclair State University’s Center for Research and Evaluation on Education and Human Services (CREEHS), the certificate program is grounded in the interdisciplinary and applied evaluation work of CREEHS. Coursework will include exposure to the realities of program evaluation work being conducted by CREEHS faculty and staff in real time.
