I am interested in looking at the interrelationships between technique, athletic performance and injury. My research investigates sports performance enhancement through modifying technique and training methods. I also investigate the possible causes of non-contact injuries, and follow this up by investigating prevention and rehabilitation programs. I emphasize throwing sports in general and injuries to the shoulder and elbow specifically. 

I am also interested in the key methods of biomechanics, and how biomechanics research can be applied to real life situations to assist coaches and athletes.
