I met Terry and Lacey at Montclair State University. Terry and I were in the same psychology class and knowing that she was also Jamaican joined us together. I was a transfer student and did not know anyone living on campus. Even though Terry was a commuter, she seemed to be a celebrity on campus. Everywhere we went, someone was saying hi to her. She was the one who introduced me to Lacey and a few more Jamaican students. My best memory of Montclair State University is spending time with Terry, Lacey, George, Amedius, Kadijha, Jasmine, Maradonna, Kim, Steve, and some of my RA family, who became life long friends. I also had some wonderful Professors who did not allow me to just reach for the stars, but told me that reaching beyond is possible.
