Curriculum Development and Training Initiative

The Curriculum Development and Training Initiative grant is a cooperative effort between the Center for Child Advocacy at Montclair State University and the Department of Children and Families Training Academy. The $187,000 grant was awarded to Montclair State's Center for Child Advocacy in recognition of its knowledge capacity to advance the work of [DCF] staff. Through the development and implementation of four separate trainings, the project's goal is to provide additional training for staff and supervisors in specific areas of the investigative process, including intake at the State Central Registry, and investigation by First Responders.
