Sociology Research Gathering


Please join us for this event, now in its third year on 

Wednesday, April 27th at 11am

in the 7th Floor Conference Center of University Hall, with a beautiful view of the New York skyline. 


Class of 2016 Senior Research Projects will be on display.  Food and refreshments will be served!  Dress is CASUAL!


Amanda Weitzel (2014 BA in Sociology, 2015 GC in Data Collection and Management) will join us to talk about her experience working for the National School Climate Center in New York City.


Prepare your poster in Power Point (see below for help) and print it at the ADP CENTER or a STAPLES for about $20.  Contact Dr. Donoghue for assistance paying for your poster, if needed.  Limited funding is available. 


Four Prizes will be awarded to the students with the posters that receive the highest ratings from the audience of students in attendance. Certificates of Participation will be awarded for all participants.


Senior Project Students who are participating in this event can come to see Dr. Donoghue ( or Dr. Besen-Cassino ( for help on Mondays and Wednesdays between 1 and 5pm.
