The Spanish Club is a class III organization of the Student Government Association whose main objective is to spread awareness about the Spanish language and culture. All are invited to join; the club is comprised of a diverse group of people from many different parts of the world. Each semester we host various activities such as movie nights, social nights at different venues, cultural events on campus, and more. We also sponsor academic events such as poetry readings and dance performances. In addition, the Spanish Club raises money each semester for a charitable Hispanic organization, through events such as bake sales, and donates a portion of the proceeds to a particular cause. The most important goal of the Spanish Club is that MSU students have the opportunity to learn about different languages, cultures, and ways of life while having fun and making friends.
