Organization Purpose/Description:
Physics is a natural science, studied and practiced in order to better understand how the Universe operates. It encompasses Classical (Newtonian) Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Optics, Electricity & Magnetism, and Modern Physics. Physicists are also heavily involved in Astronomy as well as Mathematics. The Physics Club aims to help educate students about the world of physics and the many opportunities available in this broad field. It is our goal to foster student interest in the physical sciences and help create future scientists. The Physics Club is a Class III-chartered student organization and we welcome all science and mathematics majors to join our exciting group!
