Organization Purpose/Description: Sigma Sigma Sigma exists to provide a lifelong sorority experience for women through ensuring a perpetual bond of friendship, developing a strong womanly character, and promoting high standards of conduct.

Sigma Sigma Sigma was founded as a national organization in 1898, and locally here at Montclair State University in 1992. Each member of Sigma Sigma Sigma is an individually unique female who excels in academics, strives to help others, and is goal oriented.
