Eligiblity: CSAM students who have completed the requirements for the bachelor’s degree in August 2003, January 2004 or are eligible to complete the degree in May 2004, may participate in this year’s Graduation Convocation.

Convocation Arrival Times: Graduating students and invited award recipients participating in the Convocation should arrive at Memorial Auditorium by 6:00 p.m. for registration and lineup, checking in at the Registration Desk marked for “Graduating Students” or “Award Recipients.” At that time, instructions for the processional, seating and other directions will be provided. Your guests will be admitted to the Auditorium beginning at 6:30 p.m.

The Ceremony will begin with a processional of graduating students, award recipients and award presenters. Midway through the ceremony, graduating students will be called to the stage to be congratulated personally by the Department Chair and the Dean of the College. A reception will follow the ceremony.

Dress Code: Graduating students are expected to wear their graduation gowns, without the hood and cap. Graduation gowns, caps, and hoods will be available at the bookstore beginning May 10, 2004.

Photo Opportunities: There will be opportunities to have pictures taken by a professional photographer before and after the ceremony at the Family Photo Station, located to the left in the Auditorium Lobby.

Tickets: Tickets are not required for your guests to attend the Convocation. However, in order for us to plan accordingly, you must RSVP no later than May 10th to your academic department’s office as follows:
