The Service-Learning and Community Engagement Program seeks to foster the development of informed and involved citizens through the integration of service to the community with academic course work and to engage University resources (faculty, staff, students, and alumni) to address issues of public concern at local, state, and national levels.
- To create and support community-based education courses and meta-curricular community engagement projects wherby students can attain the knowledge, skills, and motivations to become informed and involved citizens.
- To develop and maintain sustainable and reciprocal campus/community partnerships through collaborative projects and initiatives serving the needs of the larger community.
- To increase the institutional attention and commitment to service-learning and community engagement programs and initiatives.
- To create systems of support, reward, and recognition for the teaching, learning, and scholarship of service-learning and community engagement.

Location: College Hall, Room 347
Summer Office Hours: Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-5:30pm
