Education: Dr. Drost holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and French from Colgate University, a Master’s degree in Counseling from Boston College, and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Columbia University.
Relevant Experience: Prior to joining CAPS Dr. Drost served as the Assistant Director of Training/Coordinator of Consultation and Outreach Services at Pace University Counseling Center, and as a Staff Psychologist at Seton Hall University Counseling Services. He completed an APA-approved pre-doctoral internship at Pace University Counseling Center in New York, NY.
Professional Interests: Multicultural competency, cross-cultural psychotherapy, supervision and training, identity concerns, relationship and family problems, men’s issues, mood disorders, LGBT, group psychotherapy, and substance use.
