Education

Lisa holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Columbia University. 

Relevant Experience

Prior to joining CAPS, Lisa provided counseling and referral services in various settings to the elderly, pregnant/parenting teenagers, people with AIDS and those struggling with substance abuse.

Professional Interests

LGBT issues, recovery utilizing 12 Step models, end of life issues, grief and loss, use of meditation and spirituality in treatment, coping strategies, cross-cultural issues in psychotherapy.
