Montclair State is a dynamic learning University. The Aquatic and Coastal Sciences program integrates marine biology, fresh water ecology, and environmental sciences.

The program is a combined BS/MS degree in which students actively engage in research and field experiences and receive their Bachelors and Masters degrees in five years. MSU faculty members have a broad range of expertise and engage students on educational and research trips all across the world.
