Program Overview

The program objectives for the BS/MS in Aquatic and Coastal Sciences are three-fold:

1. Provide a well-defined, comprehensive knowledge of the disciplines associated with the aquatic sciences and marine biology.
2. Provide appropriate training for professional employment or as preparation for the pursuit of the doctoral degree.
3. Provide students with research experience that will include project development and implementation, data gathering, analysis and interpretation, and publication of results.
