Our campus nurse is Virginia Sabia, RN. Under the direction of our school physician, Dr. Luis Pupo, Virginia provides a valuable service to our visiting residential school program participants and the staff of NJSOC, during the hours of 8am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday. She has been working at the NJSOC for nearly twenty years and her knowledge and experience is very comforting to parents and school district coordinators. Her professional approach and assessment of individual needs for medical treatment of illness, injuries and medication distribution have been perfected to meet the needs of those requiring her services in a unique setting like the NJSOC. She has a very caring, compassionate and calming way of treating people and always greets clients with a smile. Virginia assists each school district in coordinating the medical needs of their students and staff to provide a safe and healthy experience for all participants.
