The Rainforest Connection from Thailand Stimulates Student Reflective Writing

Mrs. Katrina Macht’s 6th grade language arts students in Bridgewater-Raritan joined a videoconference with Jackie and Greg Willis, and Anna Mazzaro, while they sat beside a pond in the noisy night of a rainforest in Thailand and competed with the loud chorus of frogs to be heard in New Jersey.  They regaled the class with their experiences that day in pursuit of endangered wildlife such as shy Asian elephants and singing gibbons.
