The Rainforest Connection Team traveled to Madagascar to explore lemur habitats, observe the natural predators of lemurs, and consult with local lemur researcher, Dr. Josia Razafindramanana. They took fleeting photos of the rare Fosa (pronounced "foo'-sah") that you see here. Read more about our visit to Madagascar in our newsletter.
While camping in a lemur-rich forest, our accompanying international development practitioner from Bhutan, Kay Kirby Dorji, wrote this journal entry describing her encounter with two of the rare fosas.
