Welcome to CWE Digital, the Center for Writing Excellence's new and rapidly exapnding site filled with online resources for writers, researchers, and teachers.

We have pulled together websites, interactive tutorials, podcasts, and videos for writers and teachers from a range of sites across the internet. These resources are organized into two broad categories, Writing Resources and Teaching Resources.

One of the main resources for our writers at Montclair State is our custom print version of Diana Hacker's A Writer's Reference. The companion website for A Writer's Reference provides a wealth of exercises, handouts, model papers, tutorials, and other resources for writers and teachers. Most of the resources available at this site are free. Premium resources, including a complete e-handbook (with cross-references to printed pages), are available to instructors and students upon registration (student registration requires fee or activation codes--see more info).
