Are new technologies and social networking sites changing how students write? Writing in the 21st Century, a Report from the NCTE, suggests that we are in a period where "composers become composers not through direct and formal instruction (if at all), but rather through what we might call an extracurricular social co-apprenticeship" (5). One of the goals of this "Teaching Resources" website is to provide resources for teaching writing in this changing environment.
