Check out last year's National Day of Service, filmed by Montclair State University students while working at Franklin Elementary School in nearby Bloomfield, NJ.
Montclair State’s National Day of Service will have even deeper meaning this year as the nation marks the 10th anniversary of September 11. Montclair State students, faculty, staff, and alumni will join the more than one million Americans expected to volunteer in their communities in remembrance of the victims and heroes of September 11, 2001. This is the third consecutive year Montclair State is participating in this day of service, charity, and compassion by helping with projects in the local community—from neighborhood cleanups to food drives.
There are more than a dozen local sites at which the Montclair State community can volunteer on Saturday, September 10. Click the "Locations and Descriptions" link on the left for details, and then sign up to volunteer by clicking on the registration form under "Join Us" on the right.
Free parking in CarParc Diem to all participants! Register now to get a dashboard pass for this event.
Montclair State is proud to partner with the community, and together we can make a difference.
