Acceptable Risk Considerations

Synopsis

Students compare and contrast the acceptable risk considerations they identified in the previous investigation with those that have been suggested by others.  Students then judge the acceptability of specific risks in light of these considerations.  Students learn that there are many factors to consider when judging the acceptability of a risk and realize that a list of considerations can be a useful guide for carrying out this complex process.
