Each year, faculty and staff provide vital support to Montclair State University.

Participation Matters

Every gift matters, regardless of the size. Faculty and staff support of Montclair State University and its students is a vital part of The Campaign for the Second Century. Employees can participate by making a donation at any level in support of our students. Gifts can be given in support of the University's greatest needs, or can be directed to scholarships, specific programs, or a particular school or college. All gifts are tax deductible.

• Outright Gifts
Outright gifts can be made by completing a gift form (provide link here) and sending a check, made payable to the MSU Foundation, to 318 College Hall. Credit card gifts can be made by using our secure web site . Outright gifts can be made once or on a recurring basis.

• Campaign Pledges
A pledge is a formal statement of your intention to make a gift to Montclair State. Pledges are paid over a period of time, thereby allowing donors to give more generously than they may have originally considered.

• Payroll Deduction
Many employees make their donations through payroll deduction. It is an easy way to give to Montclair State and support the future of public higher education. Even a small donation each pay period really adds up over time. Here are some examples of payroll deduction pledges:

* $5 per paycheck x 26 weeks = $130 a year
* $10 per paycheck x 20 weeks equals $200 a year
* $25 per paycheck x 20 weeks = $500 a year
* $38.46 per paycheck x 26 weeks = $1,000 a year
* Four year pledge @ $25 per paycheck = $2,500

To make a gift through payroll deduction, please complete the payroll deduction form and send the completed form to the Office of Annual Giving in College Hall 321.

• Matching Gifts
Does your spouse work for a matching gift company? If so, your gift to Montclair State could be doubled or tripled. Check with the company's human resources department for more information.

Naming Opportunities
Naming opportunities are available and include naming seats in the Alexander Kasser Theater or paying tribute to a teacher on the Educators Wall of Honor in University Hall. For more information on additional naming opportunities or other giving assistance, please contact:
