There are two Residential Dining Halls on campus, Freeman Dining Hall and Sam’s Place. Both locations offer the latest trends in dining service. Several standard everyday features include:
    •    Composed and Simple Salads           
    •    Vegetarian Cuisine
    •    Healthy Entrees
    •    Traditional Entrees
    •    Fun Fast Foods
    •    Extensive Deli Bar
    •    Pizza, Pasta and Casseroles
    •    Cereal and Waffle Bar
    •    Fresh Bakery Products
Plus home-style soups, cappuccino, weekly specialty bars, great desserts, fresh fruit and a variety of hot and cold beverages.  International and Ethnic food specialties will be highlighted with festive monthly dinners and theme meals.

Dining with a Guest

Should you ever wish to bring along a friend or family member to the Dining Halls you can pay with cash, Red Hawk Dollars, Flex Dollars, credit cards or useyour Block Meals. Just be mindful when you use your Block Meal Plan to pay for a guest, you must be present when the card is in use.  Cash prices for guest meals are as follows:
    •    Breakfast - $5.00
    •    Lunch - $8.40
    •    Brunch/Dinner - $9.50 

Lost or Stolen ID cards

Freezing your ID card immediately when it’s lost, stolen or misplaced will prevent unauthorized spending on your accounts.  Log into the Online Card Office and click on Lost/Stolen Card under the Personalize section. Select the prompt to deactivate your ID card.  All Montclair State University ID Card holders are responsible for unauthorized spending on accounts due to lost/stolen cards not frozen.  Treat your University ID card as if it were your credit card…. FREEZE IT. REPORT IT LOST or STOLEN.
