Training Initiatives - APPA Supvervisor's Toolkit @ MSU

This unique program, taught by Master Trainers in human resources, is tailored specifically toward the education facilities professional. All training materials used and distributed for this session, from the videos that depict real-life work examples to PowerPoint presentations, use facilities language so that participants can relate to what is being taught.

Supervisor’s Toolkit: Nuts and Bolts of Facilities Supervision has been specifically designed to meet the needs of the facilities management employee. It is a structured, open-ended, and pragmatic approach to developing supervisors.

It is not a “teach” program but a development process designed to help supervisors realize both personal and professional growth.  In recent years, MSU has sent over a dozen of our Facilities employees to this invaluable training at other institutions.  (http://www.appa.org/training/Toolkit)
