Meter Parking

Effective January 1, 2007, parking rates for pay stations, meters, and commuter student parking permits increased due to the requirement to charge sales tax.

Metered pay stations are located in lots 17, 27, 52, and the Red Hawk Diner lot. Rates start at $.60 per half hour for a maximum of three hours. One pay station serves all the spaces in each of these lots. Upon parking, users must visit the pay station on foot to remit payment prior to leaving the lot. The receipt provided will
indicate the time of expiration.

Individuals who wish to keep their vehicles in a metered space beyond the three hour limit must revisit the meter to pay for additional one-half hour periods up to a maximum of a three hour increment prior to the expiration of the original purchased period.
