NJ Transit Parking Garage & Train Station

The parking garage adjacent to the train station is owned and operated by NJ Transit. Semester parking permits for this facility are available on a limited basis to eligible freshmen and sophomores only. These permits, at the currently discounted rate of $125 per semester, are available for the: fall, spring, and summer semesters.

Freshmen and sophomores are now able to apply for their NJ Transit parking permit on E-Park. These permits are available on a limited basis, first come, first served.

You can also visit the MSU Parking Services Office located in the Red Hawk Parking Deck on the first floor to apply for this permit.

Semester Rate* $125.00 Save $50.00 (plus a one time only $15.00 activation fee).

Regular Monthly $40.00

*The semester parking pass of $125.00 is a $50 savings (plus a one time only $15.00 activation fee). The $50 savings is based on purchasing a regular monthly parking pass of $40 over a five-month period totaling $200.

Standard Parking, the operator of the parking deck, is available to assist customers during operating hours and 24 hours a day, five days a week by phone at (973) 746-4237. The Operator’s office is located on Level 4.
