Biography

Chris Tarry teaches audio production and advanced audio storytelling at Montclair State. He is a New York City–based, Canadian-born composer, bassist, and writer whose work spans jazz, cinematic storytelling, and immersive audio. A five-time Juno Award winner and Peabody Award winner, he is recognized as a leading creative musician and narrative audio creator. As a writer, composer, and mix engineer, he has contributed to several globally successful audio fiction podcasts, including The Unexplainable Disappearance of Mars Patel, Six Minutes, The Natureverse, Nightingale, and Hidden Island.
