Biography

Francine Seruya is the Human Research Protection Program Administrator (HRPP) and supports the Office of Research by overseeing and managing the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and its operations. She works to ensure that human subjects research is carried out in such a manner that protects the rights and welfare of participants in research and complies with institutional, local, state, and federal regulations. In her role she provides administrative and regulatory support to the IRB, including working in collaboration with the Board in the development and maintenance of appropriate policies, procedures, processes, and records. Francine has a B.A. in Forensic Psychology, and M.A. in Occupational Therapy, an M.B.A. in Managerial  Analytics, and a PhD. In Occupational Therapy. She is a HRSA grant funded principal investigator and has expertise in developing research infrastructure in higher educational settings.
