Biography

Henrietta Nwako is an Adjunct Professor in the School of Communication and Media at Montclair State University. She also serves as a School Administrator at the elementary school level, where she has held multiple leadership roles supporting instructional excellence, family engagement, and school wide initiatives.

An alumna of Montclair State University, Professor Nwako is passionate about contributing back to her alma mater and supporting the next generation of communication professionals. She brings extensive experience in public speaking and pedagogy, integrating diverse instructional approaches to teach and empower students from a wide range of cultural and academic backgrounds.

Throughout her career, Ms. Nwako has collaborated closely with community partners and stakeholder organizations to expand equitable access to academic and social-emotional resources for students. She is known for cultivating student confidence in verbal communication and fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Professor Nwako holds a Bachelor’s degree and two Master’s degrees. In addition to her work as a school administrator and professor, she enjoys traveling, conducting research, and sharing her passion for cooking through her catering business.
