Biography
Jeffrey Gall is Professor of Voice and Coordinator of Early Music in the John J. Cali School of Music at Montclair State University. He teaches vocal technique, vocal literature, and opera history. Prof. Gall is an active scholar of singing techniques of the 17th and 18th centuries. He is currently researching improvised vocal ornamentation in the Italian tradition, with special emphasis on the vocal music of Handel and his contemporaries.
