Biography

Kurt Siegelin has been an adjunct with the School of Communication and Media since 2016. He teaches tv and radio journalism classes JOUR 245 and JOUR 280. When not on campus he can be seen on News 12 New Jersey as evening news anchor. He was one of the station's original hires and has been on the air there since the station's inception in 1996. Siegelin also worked in tv newsrooms in Las Vegas and Reno, Nevada and Flint and Detroit, Michigan. In all, he is proud to impart 36 years of broadcast news industry wisdom to the students at Montclair State.
