Biography
Marcus Printup is the adjunct Professor of Jazz Trumpet. He will also be teaching Beginning Improvisation.
A 27 year member of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra (JALCO), Mr. Printup is looking forward to sharing knowledge with the students at Montclair State.
In addition to his position in the JALCO, Mr. Printup is an in demand clinician and educator, performing/teaching worldwide.
He and his wife Riza (Harpist/Educator) live in Bergen County.
In 2019 Marcus and Riza established RiMarcable Music For Arts & Education (a 501c3 non-profit organization) with a mission to enrich and educate young audiences through the music of jazz.
Together, the Printups created RiMarcable Publications LLC through which they publish their children's books and arrangements for big band and jazz combos.
