Biography

Peter J Davis - Production Manager, Department of Theatre and Dance, College of the Arts

Each year, Peter coordinates the various elements that go into making a theatrical/dance performance including the schedule and budget for the various disciplines of our business (Scenic, Costume, Lighting, Audio, Stage Management, Props, House Management, and Projection) for rehearsal and performances of 6 - 8 mainstage productions, 8 -10 studio presentations staged in 6 different campus venues, as well as numerous outreach events.

In addition, Mr. Davis is an adjunct professor who teaches classes:
*Production Operations, a practicum course training performance-focused students production skills as they work on the crews for departmental productions.
* Production Management, exploring the role of the Production Manager in Theatrical and Performing Arts including Theatre, Dance, Opera, special Events and Rock and Roll.
* Performance Production, directing performance students in studio presentations (SING FOR YOUR SUPPER, 2/17 and COLD TURKEY, 4/19)
