School of Communication and Media

Upon completion, the new School of Communication and Media will allow the University to educate increasing numbers of students in a world-class, 60,000-square-foot facility that will serve as a vibrant hub where they can come together with faculty and professionals to learn, network and engage.

Designed to foster industry partnerships, the School will also house the Center for Cooperative Media. Founded in 2012, the main focus of the Center is to strengthen new and existing media voices in New Jersey. Closely watched by national media organizations, it is poised to become a leading national research center.

“The School of Communication and Media will be a leader in training, in assessing the impact of the digital revolution and in developing best practices across the worlds of digital and social media, journalism and television production.” – Merrill Brown, Director, School of Communication and Media
