1 Early Adventures in Algebra (EEM01)
Algebra already! That's right! This course will provide a foundation in early algebraic thinking. Students will take part in engaging games and challenges, solve for unknowns, conquer the concepts of equality and inequality, and be able to analyze mathematical problems using algebraic symbols.
Discover the relationship between math and everyday art. Explore how ancient mathematicians and modern artists express themselves through art. You will design projects that give you new ways to see, think and imagine. This is a hands-on course where you will create your own art using the mathematical skills of ancient scholars.

Get ready to travel into different time zones. Discover what time it is at different places on our Earth. Students will learn about seconds, minutes, hours, time intervals and telling time. Have fun creating your own book of time by documenting events in your daily life.
5 Gee! Gee! Geometry and Analogies (EEM05)
This study of shapes and designs enables you to see the world's patterns and order in new and creative ways. Analogies teach order in relationship comparisons. You will use geoboards to learn geometry through manipulation, improving visual thinking, spatial reasoning and problem-solving strategies. Design 3-D figures and create shapes and patterns from any imaginable materials. Spaghetti curves, pretzel rectangles, prisms, gum drop pyramids and more will have you gobbling up math.
6 Computation Challenge is Fun (EEM06) NEW
Do you want a boost in your calculating creations? Difficult problems and involved games will keep young minds challenged as students use fractions and multiplication to arrive at solutions. This is the fun and easy way to get ahead in the world of numbers.
7 Complex Problems and Games (EEM07) NEW
When problems require more than one step, solving them can be very tricky. Students carefully work through multi-step problems provided by the instructor and also create their own. After that, they solve challenging logic games involving cards and dice.
(Grades 2 and 3 only.)
Be creative and learn the fun of working with clay. Children will enjoy making useful objects from clay while developing their fine motor skills. They will be guided in step by step instructions to create bugs, dogs, bowls and much more. This course will develop the child's interest and enhance their talent in the art of clay creations. (Materials Fee: $30)

Imagine having a town of your very own! In this course, students will create their very own imaginary town. They will be responsible for deciding on local businesses, street placements, and schools. Students will even have to elect a town mayor! Daily activities will incorporate reading, writing, math, and map skills.
5 Medieval Times - An Introduction (EEH05)
Have fun as you explore one of the most fascinating times in our history. Learn about life of a serf, and the difficult struggle of a squire to become a knight. Build your own catapult and siege a castle. Activities will include life in a monastery, a medieval banquet, and designing an original coat of arms.
