Mr. Ameen brings to the classroom an exceptional range of professional and life experience encompassing achievements in technology, education, applied mathematics, and music, from playing the violin at Carnegie Hall in the 1978 Newport Jazz Festival to running a successful technology consulting business for over 20 years. He has over 30 years experience in alternative and gifted education. Mr. Ameen’s son and daughter, now in college, are alumni of the MSU G&T program. His wife Mary, a professional engineer and attorney, was a pioneer in blazing a trail for women in the engineering profession.
