The Office of International Engagement (IE) consolidates the University's international initiatives and programs and provides leadership and organizational focus for the University's globalization.
IE advances international objectives across colleges and schools, builds international inter-university alliances and partnerships.
IE organizes professional training programs for international faculty through the Teaching in English program.
IE provides funding for Montclair State University faculty internationalization through the IE Education Grants.
IE facilitates faculty and student ensemble and exhibition exchanges in the Arts.
IE supports faculty and student participation in Fulbright Programs.
IE’s Office of International Services provides a range of services for students and scholars. The Office of International Services (IS) promotes international education by providing a range of services, programs, and advocacy that support the growth, development and welfare of international students, scholars, and faculty at Montclair State University. These are:
•immigration advising and documentation
•academic, legal, housing, visa and cultural assistance for international student
•orientations for new international scholars
•social adjustment and cultural support programs
•Global Living Community (GLC) a residential community of International and American students at Montclair State University, where students can learn about the traditions and customs of students from a variety of countries
•international student recruitment
