Director, International Services
Elizabeth Gill advises Montclair State University’s faculty and staff on employment-related immigration cases (H-1B, LPR, etc.) and manages the International Services office, which serves MSU’s F and J student and scholar populations in addition to international employees. Before joining Montclair, Elizabeth served for six years as Associate Director of International Student and Scholar Services at Stevens Institute of Technology. She is a frequent presenter on the STEM OPT extension and the H-1B cap-gap to NAFSA: Association of International Educators and has served as a consultant on these issues to International Education and Training Services (IETS). Elizabeth holds a BS in English from Troy University.
Assistant Director, International Services
Aditi graduated from Montclair State University with a BS degree in Business Administration and a MA degree in Administration and Supervision. She began working at the Global Education Center as a student worker, and has since acted as International Student Advisor/SEVIS Coordinator, and currently serves as the Assistant Director of International Services. She advises incoming and current students about their visa status, manages, updates, and tracks immigration status of international students on SEVIS, creates immigration documents for newly admitted international students, oversees office database management system, maintains the International Services website. She is originally from India (and has lived in England) and had once been an international student herself at Montclair State.
International Student and Scholar Advisor
Angela graduated from the University of Western Australia with a BA in Labor Relations and from Concordia College, Moorhead, Minnesota with a major in Accounting. She works part time in Global Education advising students and scholars at Montclair State as part of the J-1 Visa Exchange Visitor Program. Before moving to New Jersey in July 2015 she worked as the Associate Director for Study Abroad at Concordia College in Minnesota. She is originally from Perth, Western Australia but has lived and worked in China and in multiple locations across Australia and the United States.
The front desk is staffed by Student Assistants, and they are the first point of contact for visitors of the Global Education Center. These students are responsible for taking calls and emails, preparing forms and letter requests, assisting students with basic immigration matters, and International Student Orientation.
